Joey Joseph Is The Ultimate Go-Getter: 2019 Webby Award Winner, Six Gold Plaques & Grammy Certified.
We realize that this is just the beginning of many accolades for Joey Joseph and we’re certain that she isn’t done. As we sat in the studio preparing and waiting for Joey to arrive, she silently walked in with a smile and promptly introduces herself, “Hi, I’m Joey. Nice to meet you.” Confident and polite, Joey is ready to sit and talk with us about her amazing career. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York; Joey’s story begins with the music industry. By the age of 17, she was working for the music label Tuff Gong/Ghetto Youths founded by reggae icon and legend Bob Marley and family. Today, Joey is one of the many talented storytellers at Vayner Media, where after only three years has managed to become a producer and 2019 Webby Award Winner for Social Activism for the short film “NY Times: Meek Mill: Prisoners Need A New Set Of Rights” by VaynerMedia.
Joey blew us away with her passion for music, advertising and storytelling. She embodies Raven Maven’s values of pursuing your goals, helping others and staying authentic and true to yourself and your culture. Tune in on our site or YouTube channel to watch her full interview.
